About Me

I am a high school English teacher. I teach at a one-to-one laptop school. I teach AP English, English IV, and English I/reading. I have also taught English II and English III as well as creative writing. Prior to the past two school years, I was a full time mentor for beginning high school teachers in their first three years. I am in my 14th year of education. I am passionate about all aspects of adolescent literacy. I have an EdS, a Masters in Reading, a BS In English, my National Boards in English Language Arts/Adolescent Young Adult Literacy and my ELL add on certification as well as a North Carolina State Teaching license. I am ABD. I am working on getting my skydiving license. I have two children.
