Hi Beth,

I lead the Tutor/Mentor Connection, based in Chicago. I've been working with IUPUI for several years and this spring two students from the IU School of Informatics did a presentation for me as part of a class project. You can see it here.

If you view some of the articles on my blog you'll see many opportunities for students to communicate these ideas more creatively, and with greater impact.
