About Me

I am a retired C0-Chair of the Special Education/Bilingual Department at Bank Street College, NYC. I was also the Director of the Middle School Program and a graduate instructor. Presently, I am designing an online social studies curriculum development course for Bank Street. I am particularly interested in finding people/communities with whom my students can collaborate and/or compare social studies questions, solutions, projects, etc. I am also interested in my students mining the web to obtain a broad perspective on issues. Lastly, I am interested in my graduate students learning how to apply what I ask of them, to their design of curriculum for school age children.
