I don't know if Ellumianate allows for embedded media.
I think the whiteboard tools are very simliar. Wiziq doesn't require software download (web based), Elluminate does require software download. Elluminate is Java based, Wiziq is Flash based. Elluminate has app sharing, Wiziq does not yet.

With your interest in Technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform.
