How familiar- unfortunately, some people think doing things differently in their programme means doing MORE- they fail to see how they can save time and be more efficient (like their students!)
I have some survey info from my team last year from using wikis in our programmes. Many parents hadn't heard of wikis, yet (6 months later) almost 60% noted an improvement in their child's commitment to learning, not to mention close to 70% noting an improvement in the quality of homestudy. AND it actually promoted teamwork and sharing amongst a small team of teachers, leading to heaps of time saved!
