About Me
I am a lecturer in Primary Education (Technologies) at Dundee University where my main remit is to prepare student teachers for 21st teacing and learning through a blended approach to technologies.

Prior to becoming a lecturer I was a primary teacher where, in the last four years of my primary teaching days, I taught ICT to all children in the school. This provided me with the opportunity to incorporate Web 2.0 tools into the classroom:

My other role is an Ambassador with British Council's eTwinning where I promote ways to connect children together and prepare them for their globalised futures.

One project that is successfully connecting children together using their voices rather than the written or typed word is Voices Of The World - http://votw.wikispaces.com

I just viewed your mlearning slides. Very interested in developing methodology around mobiles for public secondary schools in NYC. I'd love to share resources and ideas. And data...as it emerges. Opening 3 new schools fall 09. So real opportunity to innovate!

Hello dear Sharon, my welcome from Germany!
I focus on Web 2.0 apps in the classroom - and I´ve created the biggest group on CR 2.0 about using digital teaching methods called DigiSkills with now 441 members. Would love if you decide to join as well.
By the way I´ve created my own Ning called COMENIUS Dialog
It is mainly in German but if you would like to join too - feel free to add content in English.
My cheers
Hans
