- I have been teaching sixth grade for the last 15 years. Prior to that I was a software engineer. I have taught all subjects over the course of the years. Currently I am teaching reading and mathematics. This summer I stared a program called Lift2 (Leadership Initiative for teaching technology) which is an initiative in the state of Massachusetts to expose teachers to the STEM careers and train them in 21 Century skills.
