About Me
Leadership, Ethics and Critical Thinking--

Everything else is secondary to these educational goals. Every day I strive to engage and inspire young people to fulfill their dreams. Not only is it the most challenging thing I have ever done, it is by far the most important.

I teach mathematics and technology in a new, progressive urban high school in Philadelphia. I facilitate the content through a project based curriculum where I strive to individualize the educational experience for all learners.
The mission of the School of the Future is to question everything we know about education as being continuous, adaptive and relevant. The challenge is to truly individualize the learning experience for every learner.

As an educator at the School of the Future, you work within a team to create engaging projects for learners that will give them skills that have been neglected by traditional models. These "21st Century Education Competencies" must be assessed along with content to ensure that learners are truly prepared for a quickly evolving world.

Hi Thomas!

Hope you had a nice winter break. I was wondering if you or your students would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. If not, perhaps you have some educator contacts you could direct me to. We'd really like to get students involved from Philly!

You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
