How about digital storytelling? Students can retell a classic tale, update it, or tell about their community and share with the world. Some resources and lesson plans are available at ePals, in Focus Area: Storytelling and in Project: Digital Storytelling.

Hi Yvonne. I was wondering if any of your students would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. If not, perhaps you have some other educator contacts you could direct me to. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
email me at nbosch@aol.com and I'll discuss Blogger headers. Reminds me of Harry Potter and the "name not to be spoken" All very cloak and dagger....I'm in Johnson County too. N.
