Hello Karl and welcome to classroom20. There is much to share here and it is hoped that you will tell us more about your project. I teach in Australia and have worked in innovations and excellence through my local district. It would be great if you could join and contribute to our ning as well on guide to innovation as we would really welcome your contributions.

Intriguing project. I would be really interested in your results. My PhD research focuses on video narratives but the focus is news. Have you read the work of Gunter Kress and Cary Jewett? You may find them useful particularly in regards to the affordances of visual discourses in the teaching and learning of science.

Please share what you discover with those of us at the Lawrence Hall of Science (which is where I work). FYI - some of your colleagues in Scottsdale have piloted some work we have been doing on sharing photos. www.fossweb.com/planetfoss
