About Me
Hello, I'm the International Baccalaureate Middle Year's Programme Coordinator at our school. I also teach science and theory of knowledge. The first (MYP Coordinator) means I'm interested in education, leadership curriculum development, EAL, ICT, etc. The second (science) means I'm interested in science and science education) the third TOK means I'm interested in everything and why!
I have taught in the UK, Czech Rep, Egypt, Turkey, Syria and Switzerland and am now back to my second home in Turkey. So I am interested in Turkey, Turkish politics, culture and also central and Eastern European issues. The more you get to know the more you realise you don't know nuffing.

Looking forward to meeting you all - or someof you at least!

Thornybee

Has your school signed up for IB virtual community yet? (IBvc) It's free for IB teachers, students and alumni. See a three-minute video of how this social learning network looks: http://bit.ly/IBvideo

Go to the site and sign up your school: http://ibo.epals.com.

Read about it in IB World magazine, Sept. 2010, p. 4-5.

Hi Cathy! Welcome to Classroom 2.0.

I'm a dog lover too. My wife Jan and I are dog sitters for all our kids pets. That means (at the moment) we have three terriers tearing around the back yard. We've also got three goofy cats... quite a houseful. I find that dogs and cats each have a way of taking you out of the time stream and bringing you into the moment.

It's great to connect with an educator working in the International Baccalaureate program. I've worked with a lot of teachers from International Schools. Is it a generalization to say you're adventurous people with a dedication to excellence?

I'm sending you an invitation to our e-learning group. I hope you consider joining!

Hello! I love dogs! Is that a picture of your dog? Good to hear from you. Are you a classroom teacher? What age do you teach?
