Google Apps for Elementary Education

Hi everyone,

My district is heavily pushing Google Apps for Education. I work in a K-5 elementary building and am working on ideas for how to get the kids using Google Apps. I have had the kids work with Docs and Slides in the past with some success. I would love to hear how others are using the apps at the elementary level. What have you found that works well?  What pitfalls have you learned to avoid?  I have spoken with many middle and high school level teachers and they love using Google Apps, but I have interacted with fewer elementary level teachers to learn how they use Apps.
