Alternate Reality Game?

What is this exactly. Although I have a couple of other simpler
ideas for my Grad semester media project, this sounds interesting.

Is if Flash-based, Javascript? Where are there tutorials and
examples?

Indigo,

I'd be excited to talk to you about collaborating on an ARG project. My
limitations are the 8 week deadline until my instructor-review of my
showcase studio project (due date).

I'm looking at maybe a more simple, classical web-based presentation
of something like alternative fuels, earth science, etc. as that I can throw
together from my previous experience and knowledge of the web, HTML
Javascript, CSS, etc.

ARG might entail a learning curve that I have to take the time for, which
is my most limited resource (time).

Let me know your thoughts on these constraints. I'd be happy to share
attribution on the project with a collaborative partner.

Worse case, perhaps I could do this post-semester as an independent
grad research project. I'm certain I could use it for future courses (including
the two follow-on studio courses in my program).
