When it comes to classroom behavioral strategies, there are many articles, websites, and resources on the internet with recommendations and tips. Depending on the age group of the students, their backgrounds, subjects being taught in the class and so many other factors, there are tons of material that offer help for different teachers who are either starting out in their teaching career or experienced teachers who are simply looking for a new trick.
Some of the suggested tricks include handshakes with the students, maintaining a neutral and calm tone of voice, hand signals and nonverbal communication such as clapping, verbal reprimands and many more.
