Physical Education Class Sizes
Hi,
I teach 9th and 10th grade physical education. I have extremely large classes as I am sure all PE teachers have. Is there anybody out there who can give me any ideas on 1) managing 60+ students, and 2) how to engage all students with minimal "down time" with that many kids--meaning, how do I eliminate students who are off task because they're waiting for their turn, etc., and 3) how to encourage students to dress-out on a daily basis. I am looking for advice from any veteran PE teachers.

You can split them in teams and try to engage them with different activities, one for each team.
