On April 27th, 13 IB Environmental Science students will commence their "field work" week long project. We will be off the East Coast of Malaysia on the island of Redang conducting field work and volunteering with SEATRU.

Heres the catch....I would love for more than just the students going on the trip but any student/teacher to share in the experience but, there is no access to the web (and no I'm not a billionaire that has a satellite connection). Most likely the experience will have to be something that is put in place online once we return. If I had access I would most likely set up a Ning group but having it be an "after-the-fact" situation I'm wondering.... Any advice on what format to use....blog, wiki, Ning, etc?

PS anyone that wants to follow the Sea Turtle Trip add me in twitter wargoelizabeth and I'll keep you updated

If it were me, I'd probably get the students to write daily journals while they're away. Then when they return I'd ask them to turn their journal entries into daily blog posts. This would give friends/family a feeling of discovering everything along with the students.
Not a bad idea.
~Thanks
