Claymation/web Cam help

This year I bought 6 web cam's to use in clay animation-That way the kids could see the pictures on the monitor. However having to save each seperate picture has been time consuming. Is there any progam out there that works with web cam's were they can just continue to click the pictures in sequence. I used to use regular digital camera's but the kids would mess with the reolution and it would tricky to get all the resolution the same especially over several different sessions.
