iChats blocked in our district so we have to use skype to videoconference. However, if you're looking for ideas...you can connect to pen pals, have virtual guest speakers, or participate in a discussion with another class.

I am in Killeen, Texas. I currently teach 3rd graders. I love it. I would love to chat back and forth with a lesson. Just let me know when, where, and what you are wanting. I can't wait to begin.

I see this discussion was started in April, so I don't know if you have gotten a response. If you are still looking for a class to iChat with, I am in Minnesota. I have four groups of third graders since I teach technology, but I'm sure we could figure something out. Let me know!

Hi,
We are Nantucket Elementary School, on Nantucket Island in Massachusetts. We are interested in sharing/collaborating with other fourth and fifth graders in a project using iChat, iMovie, and ComicLife (a comic book creator). Content can be explored.

Maybe we could compare weather, or geographical formations, or literature...
