I am working on a presentation for our staff and am in need of some examples of student work using voicethread. I am a math teacher and have used it but I wanted to show more than math examples. Any work from grades 9-12 in all subject areas would be greatly appreciated. Also by sharing your student's work with me you are modeling the power of web 2.0 by giving them a global audience. Even more impressive would be to have a student who has created a voicethread project to join our inservice via skype to discuss their work. Thanks to all who read and respond

I had students take notes on ecology and the find 6 images that represent one of the chapters. The author had to comment on the importance of the images and then other students could leave comments as well. I liked this because it encouraged multiple modes of understanding a concept and allowed students to share unique images they found.

I also created a voicethread to show 4 ways to represent a concept in cell biology. I then asked to students to comment on which was their favorite and which was their least favorite. I liked this because each image was liked and disliked by many students. This reminded me and them, that one method to teach/learn will not work for all students
