For some of us, the year is coming to an end. So, before heading off to vacation, some of us plan what our projects will be like for next year. For me, it will be to build more time into assisting staff with using web2.0 tools. I have added periods in which I will be with teachers, working on creating 21st century classrooms. Because each teacher is different, I'll work with their strengths. I plan on having time with each teacher and working with them on at least one project for the year. I will document these throughout the year so that by the end I will have a year long journey of our school as we work towards being a 21st century school. That's my goal!

My co-teacher and I won a grant recently and we purchased a few Web 2.0 tools for our 5th grade class. The tool we're most excited about is the webcam. Our ultimate goal for next year is to connect to classrooms in South America and Canada as part of the NYS curriculum and our yearly research project! We're very excited about this Web 2.0 endeavor!
And I'd like, as Christine's co-teacher, to add that we would love if anyone with South American or Canadian contacts would love to work with us. Any takers?
Christine and Lisa, I have a grade 4/5 class that would be interested - and I'd even be the support person in the school. Interested?
Interested. I sent you a message. :)
Jennifer and Dianne,

I will be passing this information on to my teachers so that they can use it. I know that some of them would like to get involved. Thank you for the information. We are thinking of doing something similar with the Flat Stanely idea Jennifer so I may be picking your brain to see how you set things up. Dianne, I have passed the information on to some teachers and I know they are interested. I will be working with all our teachers in using technology and know that at least one will be very interested in using this. Thanks.
Jennifer, I just signed up for technospuds and am awaiting the opening of the registration for the Dr. Seuss project. It sounds great! Thanks for the heads-up!
Me too!
Sounds like a great way to get the year started on a collaborative foothold.

We're not in Latin America but do study it in school. Our fifth graders compare L.A. and Canada with US. We actually were talking with others about creating a wiki to research together. Loved your wiki site. Got some great ideas. Thanks.
