Need help with Ustream

I'm trying to use Ustream for the first time. I've done several test broadcasts and recorded them. They play back just fine before I save them. After saving and then going to My Videos page, the videos are listed there with a black video box and a play button. When I click the play button, it disappears, but there seems to be no video. It just stays black. I must have missed a setting somewhere? Any ideas?

Thanks! The protocol list is very helpful. I'm using a MacBook, so the camera and mike are built-in. The only thing I see in the list that I haven't done is that I was clicking broadcast before record. I'll give it a try the other way around. Thanks for your help!

I was unable to get your videos to play. It's the same thing I experienced with mine. Now I'm wondering if my district filtering system is not allowing the videos to play. I'll try it again from home this afternoon.

My last one works from home. What I've learned is that I have to click record before broadcast and that my district filtering system will allow me to broadcast/record at school, but no Ustream videos will play at school. My district has an account with Adobe Connect, and that may be a more viable option for us than Ustream. I just enjoy exploring new tools, because that's how you find the really cool stuff that makes a difference!
