I've been in education for 10 years, both as a teacher (5th-8th grades working under an emergency permit) and as a counselor (masters in educational counseling). Due to budget cuts in California my counseling position diapeared and I was offered a position running the technology lab. Long story short . . . I'm loving it and can see myself doing it for a long time.

My question to the classroom 2.0 community:
What types of credentialing should I be looking for if I would like to continue teaching in the tech lab? I live in the SF bay area and would love any input regarding specific programs.

Thanks in advance,
Matt

I dont know if your district will require anything specific, but something like this...

...may go someway to showing you are aware of what is needed to advance technology skills.
