What will you do in your classroom to teach Internet safety?

I will use Netsmartz.org and show my students the videos on "You Caqn't Take it Back", "Profile Penalty", and "Terrible Text"

If you go to my web site and click on "Computers" followed by "Internet Safety" you'll find your selections and a bunch more.

Hi,
I have a few great websites for little guys on Internet Safety. Here's one by Isafe - Faux Paux - http://www.ikeepsafe.org/assets/videos/?vid=fauxpaw_video I show it to 1st-4th grade. I also love the Netsmartz site. They have great videos. Good luck!

I use the PBS Frontline special "Growing Up Online." http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/kidsonline/
I really like Cybersmart Curriculum!
http://www.cybersmartcurriculum.org/

The activities are short and the students need to do a lot of discussion to complete them. What I truly like is the reference sites they cite for each lesson.
I have 2nd graders and we also use Netsmartz.org and Clicky.
Hi Lynne,
I teach tech to grades 3-5 and I always start the beginning of the year with a unit on internet safety and then weave it into my lessons throughout the year. You can find my resources on my blog:
and also a post I wrote about some things I do here.
Thanks for the discussion starter - I've added some resources for my future lessons from this thread.
Cheers!
-Keith
