cirriculum and content ideas?

Hello Everybody,

Thank you so much for all your great comments and suggestions. I'm really starting to get the hang of this forum and of finding good programs. Alot of my broad questions I'm now answering myself.

However, something I do not see on this site is lesson or unit ideas. I know most of us all teach different subjects but is there somewhere on this site where you can look up grade levels and subject and see what kind of content is being used with this new technology?

If not do others no of another site that is good for that?

Finally, I know this forum goes all over the world, which is very exciting. However, I'd like to start compiling a roster of members that live in the Los Angeles area. I live in Culver City,CA and work in Inglewood, CA near the airport. So if your within a 15 mile radius especially Westsiders. Perhaps we can meet or form some type of seminars/gatherings to collaborate. As I've mentioned I have no other people in my department. And even though I work for a large charter school operation with 24 schools in the L.A. area I am given no professional development days to colloborate with other teachers, and few have been receptive to meet on their own time.
