Greetings,
I am taking an online course in Universal Design For Learning. This is an educational theory that states that curriculum is broken not the students. We need to focus on providing the tools for all students and if you have a disability that should not stop you from accessing the importance of the curriculum.
It is heavily based on technology (mainly because the parent company CAST sells some nifty educational technology) but it advocates using assistive technology to help students work.
Is anyone familiar with this theory? Does anyone work in a school that implements this theory?
Thanks,
Tobey
