Our education association is looking for a Webinar model that will generate a little revenue, or at least break even, and provide a member benefit. I have seen research on both sides of the question "will people pay?"

So, what would you pay for an educational Webinar? We plan to give out attendance certificates for which your particular advanced degree program may (or may not) give you credit. But these would not be as tangibly helpful as training Webinars from which you will walk away with a certification renewal or continuing education unit.

Thanks!

Hi Catherine,

As an educator I believe it's my job to stay current with all aspects of education and the education profession. If I understand your post correctly you're asking whether it's possible to charge a fee for educator professional development? I would hope that the vast majority of webinar's and other educator professional development stay cost free. It would be a sad day if I couldn't attend an event, designed to enrich my learner's school experience, because of financial limitations.

Thanks

Christopher
