How can i improve a virtual classroom?

Hello everyone im a teacher on trainning and if some one can help me out on improving my virtual classroom which i started yesterday but honestly i dont have a certain idea of what to add in order to attract my students attention any suggestion is great and thank you for the help i really appreciate.

I have been teaching virtually since 2002. I would suggest 2 things right off the bat. Get your student connected to Edmodo.com. Sign up as a teacher and then give your students a code. This is a Facebook environment and will build classroom community. Second, check out glogster. I have been using it to present lessons and the students remember more when they can reference back to a document--especially when I attach sound bytes of my voice. They love that.
