I'm thinking of creating some video tutorials on using Facebook. A few that colleagues have requested are one on setting up an account and creating a group. Once I get them done, I'll post a link here, but I was wondering, are there any others you would be interested in?

Hi Amanda,

I think this is a great idea you have, and in response to your questions are there any others I would be interested in the answer is yes! Actually, I suggest that you think about making the new group a little more broad than Facebook tutorials. What about video tutorials regarding Web 2.0 applications generally? If so, I have links to some other very helpful videos that you could add, including Skype, Prezi, and some others.

Thanks!

Dean
Yeah, i think there are quite a few video tutorials out there on various tools but little to nothing on Facebook. I think I'll start there for now and maybe expand later. I'm new to Classroom 2.0 and I don't want to start more than I can deal with at first. If you decide to start the group, let me know and I'll be glad to contribute. Thanks! :)
I think I will do that then. . . I didn't want to step on your toes, since a video tutorial/Facebook site was really your idea. But, since you say it's ok, I guess I will.

Thanks,

Dean
Great Idea Amanda. We posted some information on Facebook and how schools (private schools in particular) can use it as a marketing resource. Here's our 10 step guide to starting a facebook page.
