I am not exactly what you mean by "indirectly".  Usually explicit teaching by directly stating your objectives (that would be the most important points of your lesson) is best.  That way students know exactly what is expected of them.  As an alternative you may provide students a learning experience to "discover" the main points about a topic.  As a ticket out you can have students write the most important points learned today---be ready to correct misconceptions since what is important to a kid isn't always what we have in mind as educators!

If you mean how to subtly let students know an important point is being discussed during a lecture you can give an opening introduction that lists each main point, discuss each main point with a strategic pause after you mention the point again, and then review the points one more time at the end.  You may tell students to listen to however many point you will be covering and give a quick quiz at the end to see who was able to find them all.

Does this answer your question at all?

You mention some important elements which will help me in future .

Thanks alot
