I'm a Math 8 teacher doing a unit on Algebra. I use technology in my instruction (teach with touch-screen tablet computer + digital projector, have a class website with videos, games and resources, blog, etc) but want to find more student-centered activities utilizing technology to promote understanding and engagement in mathematics.

Does anyone have any ideas or want to collaborate on a technogy-rich Algebra unit?

Thanks :)

I was participating in the EU project ITEMS last two years. We were working on Moodle modules for students, 14 - 16 years old.  Linear function is among them. You can see the modules on www.itemspro.net/moodle/. If you like something, you can also contact me. (breda.policar@gmail.com)
I am currently researching my Master's thesis on technology grounded problem based learning and am modeling my lessons after Dan Meyer's style. Check out this video on YouTube and visit his blog for ideas.
