Hello Everyone!

I'm Rachael.  I teach Head Start in Pennsylvania.  I'm glad to be here.  I'm looking to collaborate with other early childhood educators and to elevate the field.  My classroom is inclusive and the community is diverse, so I am especially interested in tips for working with duel-language-learners and children with exceptionalities.  I'm also happy to share what I have learned along the way.

Hi - I'm Bob Saxon from Fort Bragg on the northern California coast. I teach in an alternative high school. I think our district might be a little bit behind the rest of the country in terms of using digital technology. So I would like to hear ideas from others, specifically alternative ed teachers, about how you're using social networking sites in your classrooms to enhance student learning.

Hi I am Maru, and I ma from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I have been working at a public charter school in Westlake, Texas since Aug 2007. The school has the three International Baccalaureate programmes: PYP, MYP and DP. I am the technology (edu) coordinator an teach MYP technology for grades 7, 8 and 10 and act as technology integration facilitator.

Hey Everyone,

I am a Special Education major at Illinois State University. This is my senior and I am starting my professional learning network and heard this was a place to come and meet other people that are involved in the education world. The main class I am in right now is all about assistive technology. So I am very interested in learning about that so if anyone has great information or places I can go to get information please let me know I would greatly appreciate it!

My name is John Thompson and I'm a 5th grade teacher at O.H. Schultz Elementary School in Mishicot, WI. I've been teaching for quite a while, starting as an exceptional education teaching assistant in Milwaukee, WI in 1986 and then teaching a variety of grade levels from 5th up to 9th in both urban and rural public schools, becoming an early technology coordinator at Fritsche Middle School in Milwaukee. I've traveled extensively both within the U.S. and abroad, and focus much of my graduate level work on global studies and American history. I have several favorite places in the world that include: the Wisconsin State Historical Society in Madison, WI, James Madison's Montpelier in Virginia, The Hermitage in Nashville, TN, Yosemite National Park, and Cape Point, S.A. I love to bike, hike trails, kayak, write and read great books!

welcome Kaifi Allahu akbar that is nice interest

Hello! Tim here,

I'm a web safety advocate and educator working out of the San Francisco Bay area, AKA Silicon Valley.

I'm part of a NFP organization that helps teachers, parents and kids with web safety issues.

We host an extensive resource of  engaging content on our website (kiwicommons.com) for kids, educators and parents.

The big thing for us is engaging adult-child conversations. It's so important because the most tragic and publicized problems could have been easily avoided if kids had someone to go to for advice.

Hi everyone!  I teach at Archbishop O'Hara High School in Kansas City, a Lasallian School.  I also serve as assistant principal.
