After clicking around wikipedia for a few minutes I arrived here
Probably all pictures are either free, public domain, because their copyright has expired or they are under the "fair use" umbrella. In either case under every image there is information that you and/or your students will have to read and decide if and how to use the image. think it's a great resource. Check it out.

I've been in a predicament similar to yours and the long story short is you can use images for your presentations so long as you cite where you got them from (and just saying that you got them from google does not count).
