I was recently sent a memo from my board about how they are planning on giving out some Mini-PC's to some of our schools. But in order to determine who gets what, we have to write up a proposal for what we plan on doing with them once we get them (somewhere between 4-12 machines).

The only idea I could come up with that seemed "grand" enough was to put together a kind of "mobile editing studio" with some video cams. Then, my idea was to go with a small group of students to various schools within the board, and start making short videos on various topics which we could edit right then and there to see some kind of final product.

This idea satisfies two parts of what I want to accomplish: (1) make it a collaborative effort and (2) make it something we could share easily.

Does anyone else have any experience using Mini-PC's? Any other ideas about what types of projects they could be used for?
