Each spring, the students in my Multimedia class host a celebration of academic achievement. On March 30, approximately 1,500 people from around the country flew into our small Midwestern town to join us in the celebration our students' work. The 6th annual AHA Student Film Festival consisted of 22 student films and was held at the Rosebud Theatre.

This year, we are also in process of hosting our first annual online film festival. From April 20 to May 1, we will meet with other K-12 educators in the digital space to discuss story telling and the importance of celebrating the academic achievement. Please feel free to join us. We can be found hanging out at the following url: http://ahafilms.ning.com

We hope to see you there. Until that time, I will leave you with one of our favorite student shorts. Speedwell, was produced by J. Roedl and M. Mader.
Enjoy,
-joe

Nancy,
Thanks for the kind words. I hope you get the opportunity to see some of the other work our kids have produced. Have a great weekend.
