More detailed concept of collaborative project - need high school collaborator

Hello. I posted a general inquiry to find a class to collaborate with for a project I would like to do by Christmas break. I would like to share more specifics in the hopes that another class out there would partner with us on it (please pass along if you know someone else who might be interested):

Our class, which is called Global Technical Communication (30 students), is an English class that focuses on workplace skills in the 21st century, everything from interviewing to writing tech manuals, to advertising. I would like to do a short project connected to both using 2.0 technology to collaborate and Diversity in the workplace. This could connect with almost any Social Studies, English, Tech, Business, or Human Relations class grades 11-12 (maybe younger). Here's how I envision the project:

1. The two (or more) collaborating teachers have a Skype session or chat to hammer out the specifics of the project.

2. We randomly distribute our students fairly evenly into groups of about 4-6 (at least 2 from each school) and have them begin the project: Create a diversity policy that could be followed by employees in almost any type of field.

3. Assign the students to surf the web for examples of diversity policies, and for relevant diversity in the workplace information. They will use a google spreadsheet to both chat about their findings and collect URLS or make general notes. If the classes did not meet at the same time, they could use email to contact one another and could still share as above during times they might designate after hours. Instructors would be added to each group's document and we could oversee any work. communication as it happened.

4. The groups would open a new Google doc, and begin working wiki-style on the actual policy. They could divide and conquer the work, or team it out in real time.

5. Both (or all) teachers would give feedback on the finished projects, and they would be shared with members of the other groups so they could see the finished products.

6. As a bonus, volunteers could take the best from the projects to form a "best of the best" final policy.

A classroom-to-classroom Skype session could be used at any time to let the students see each other face-to-face.

I see this taking maybe a week at the most, including a weekend. It would require access to computers, accessto Google Docs, and Possibly Skype.
