Use of Podomatic for Oral lessons

Hello friends,

I am in the midst of planning a so called intervention in a secondary school on the use of Podomatic (I'd refer to it as audioblog) for oral lessons. The plan is to use Podomatic as the central technological tools to enhance the teaching and learning of oral lessons. Students will use Podomatic to record, re-record, comment on peers, do self-reflection. Teachers will provide feedback, scaffold and other related resources. These are all within the environment of Podomatic. There are 2 objectives. 1 is to address some issues that teachers raised with regards to podcasts only (without blog). These are technical issues, uploading or linking to blogs and on providing feedbacks. Most podcasts sites either allow only recording but not hosting or vice versa. And they do not provide any feature to post comments. The other objective is to foster meaningful learning via the use of technology, in this case Podomatic. Podomatic features allows students to do peer critic, self-reflection and co-operative work.

Now with all that planned, I need to think of some ways to assess if the intervention do work or otherwise. I am not sure how to go about doing this. Please advise. Million thanks.
