Short Session Description (one line): Social Networking to Promote Language Learning.

Full Session Description (as long as you would like): Students of this digital age strongly believe in socializing with every one and this attitude is a positive feature for promoting language learning. It is the responsibility of language teachers to tap that aspect in students and make them use it for learning the language effectively. There are many social networking sites available in the web and the three sites, which the presenter would focus upon in this presentation, are Facebook, Twitter and Blog. She would discuss the ways of exploiting these sites for enhancing communication skills among learners. Further more, she would briefly talk about her on-going study, in which the tertiary level students are involved.
