I used to think there was only public or private schools to choose from. Now, however I realize that there are many different choices to make under those categories. Under the public school category there are five different choices: Traditional, Full-service traditional schools, Magnet, Charter, and Alternative. Then choosing from the private schools there are four more choices: Religious, Nonreligious, Single gender, and For-profit.
What is MySciLife?

MySciLife® is an online social learning environment where students create an identity as a science concept, such as an organism, animal. object or force: What would it be like to live life as a cell? Students develop this persona and maintain the role of this science concept via status updates, interactions and tools familiar to today’s youth—safely within the MySciLife® community. MySciLife® is a personal, dynamic science learning experience, a place for science-focused interaction, and a tool for teachers to assess understanding as students “live” and learn science, created by TeachersFirst.com.

Our MySciLife® Pilot Teacher Ambassadors had great success using MySciLife® learning community to deliver their science curriculum in Grades 6-9. Student interest, motivation and learning was shown to improve. Full results will be posted soon on our website. We would like to expand our research project to a total of thirty science teachers from across the country, next year. You will be contracted and compensated for your time.

The entire project is FREE for schools, teachers and students participating and will remain free. We hope to bring this project to life to provide fun and inter-active learning to middle school students.

I'm looking for Social Studies in Colorado, and wonder if any of you can recommend any databases to use? I'm on schoolspring.com, but it does seem fairly limited and I have a sinking feeling there is a better source. Thanks for your help!

Personally, I enjoy playing with babies, but it's the 7-10 year olds that I really enjoyed teaching because of their eagerness to learn and their still simple approach to what they consider fun. But asides from enjoying the job, I wondered which teaching specialization pays the most? Is it that the higher the level you teach at, the more you earn? Or does it depend on the location? Or the school?
So, do you have a job description for your role? If you could include what your "Title" is that would be helpful too... I really dislike the title "computer teacher" :) Thanks!
