Hello Colleagues,
Hello Colleagues,

I am wondering if you can help me by providing some info regarding your elementary computer education program. Our district is looking at getting some information from schools that are using Integration Models without Computer Labs.

If we were to move towards an integration model, this staff member would be going into classrooms with laptops and provide skill based instruction on a monthly basis, but may work directly with teachers and students on infusing this directly into the curriculum.

We are looking for feedback on what you are doing.

--Does your district have an integration model? If so, would you mind explaining how this works and what resources (staff and technology) you have put in place to support this?

--Can you share any thoughts or ideas on how to best implement?

I really appreciate your help.

Thank you,
Dear all, these days I am working on self-organized learning models. ..and I have some questions: (1) How to combine formal and informal learning? (2) Can informal learning be used to support formal learning and how? (3) Can I control self-organized learning and how?
You are experts in elearning and maybe you will help me clear my thoughts!

I'm a professional development specialist in south western New York state. We're seeking information regarding 1:1 computing models, and perhaps visiting a school which is successfully implementing an effective model.

In general, we're looking for a model that uses laptops over desktops, and we also want to make sure it's a model in which the teaching methodologies have changed to maximize the use of the available technology.

Thank you for any leads you can share!

Hi, I'm Helen, and I've been a lurker for a loooong time - well in Classroom 2.0 terms a long time!
But now I'd like to get your opinions for some research I'm doing into Gilly Salmon's 5-Stage Model and E-tivities framework.
On behalf of the University of Leicester Beyond Distance Research Alliance I would like to find out how these models have been applied in learning and teaching across the world in the last ten years. I know that teachers have used them in a variety of different ways, adapting and developing the models to suit their own purposes. As part of the background to a new book, I would like to find out about the models in practice. The general results of this research will be made available to all practitioners.

If you have used the 5-stage model or e-tivities in any way, even adapted, please respond either here, in the Classroom 2.0 forum, or, if you prefer to respond offlist (as it were), by taking our online survey:
