HIgh School Math- Where are we ever going to use this MATH?

Hi,
I am looking for careers/problems/topics that use H.S. mathematics to solve examples or Websites that contain topics . Thanks up front.

Matrices and Cryptography (Internet banking security)
Pythagorean Theorem and the Machine Industry (replicating parts)
Orthocenter, Circumcenter, Centroid and architecture (Sydney Opera House)
Vectors/Complex Numbers and GPS/Airline Navigation.

Thanks Michael...I will pass this on to my freshman students. Do you have any good websites I can have them go to. I would like to start them on the path of self-discovery and it will be a great way to give them some needed extra-credit. By the way...where do you teach. I teach in Cincinnati Ohio.
