Pinwheels for Peace September 2008

Our school will be participating again in the Pinwheels for Peace project. http://www.pinwheelsforpeace.com/theproject.htm
We make pinwheels a few days in advance, gather to sing a few songs and read poetry. I'd be curious to hear about other Peace Day celebrations in the Classroom 2.0 community.

I think this would be great but it's on a Sunday. Is your school really doing this on the Sunday?

We are going to do this on Friday the 19th. Some schools will be celebrating on Sunday or on Monday.
