Fran -
I've seen the 23 things activity and think it's an excellent way to begin this journey, I hope you're able to find many more resources here! It's a great learning community.
Hello, I am an assistant professor at a small college where I work with preservice and inservice teachers. My research interests center mostly on entry level teachers and professional development for educators. I am interested in working with others to assist teachers in better understanding technology, how to use technology to reduce their workload and engage students, and to use technology fostered connections for personal and professional development.
Welcome!
Sounds like you have of knowledge and experience to share. I think you might just find what you're looking for here. I started here last summer and have definitely learned a lot of new ideas about improving my teaching and the experience of students.
Welcome! As a non-traditional first year teacher (came to the profession after being an accountant) I look forward to hearing your insights as a professor of education. This has been a wonderful place to learn and collaborate.
