You could always use a classic like <a href="http://www.gutenberg.org/catalog/world/readfile?fk_files=53260&pageno=2">Swiss Family Robinson</a>, <a href="http://www.cs.cmu.edu/People/rgs/jngl-table.html">Jungle Book</a> or <a href="http://www.literature.org/authors/dumas-alexandre/the-count-of-monte-cristo/">Count of Monte Cristo</a>...they would all be in the public domain.
