What do you define Digital Citizenship as?

I think it starts with an awareness that not everything on the Internet is free for the "taking." Students need to learn that just because it's out there on the web does not mean that they can claim it as their own.

If I had to create a definition: Responsible, legal and respectful use of the Internet and associated tools to communicate ideas, collaborate with others and create for an audience.

Don't know that this covers everything, but it's a start. Someone else - feel free to add/edit!
