Immediate feedback on cover letter please!!!

I'm writing a cover letter to apply for a part time instructor position at a technical college (teaching Accounting and Computer Applications). Help me finish (or re-write) this sentence relating to my current Web 2.0 exploration:

"My recent independent studies in online learning applications and collaboration would add valuable current.................."
