When conducting an online course, it is highly a likelihood that not all your expected learning outcomes will be met. It could be due to technology hiccups, learner lack of motivation, bad planning of the course, etc. I am looking for a research paper, or link that looks at how des one deal with such occurrences.
It sounds to me like this is where online and classroom issues really begin to overlap. That's what the art of teaching is all about is trying to figure out how to get each learner to the goal post. Let me do some thinking and looking and I'll see what I can find.
