I love using technology in my classroom but it can be difficult to incorporate Google Apps into some of my courses. In my Foundations of College Math class, which is a real-world based class that has to do with a lot more than numbers, like researching houses, car shopping, etc. I have used Google Apps for group assignments with that class before. I'm struggling to find ways to use Google Apps in my tenth grade Geometry classes. I'm not sure if I should find a way for the students to collaborate in a discussion like Google Talk, or if it should be used for a project-based assignment like the other course. Any suggestions on ways to bring Google Apps into my tenth grade classroom would be appreciated! I love what the Google Apps have to offer and I use them on a regular basis, so I would love to introduce my students to them sooner rather than later.
