Literacy Magazine for Parents

I have just published the fourth issue of Literacy Lava, a free pdf which gives ideas for encouraging kids to read, write and communicate. It's available at my website. There are ideas for nurturing creative thinking, ways to use magazines with your kids, ideas for raising book-loving boys, what to do if your child is not into writing, how to encourage your child to love reading, ways to promote inquisitiveness through hands-on learning, how to help kids make connections through story extensions, and all about getting kids to tell stories through movie-making.

I finally got the time to check this out and it's a great resource! I love the collaboration that went into it. I've already printed out a couple copies to leave in the teachers' room on Monday. Thanks for the terrific articles!
