Marzano Strategy - Reinforcing Effort and Providing Recognition

Hi!
This topic interests me because I believe lack of confidence is one of my students' biggest hurdles. So I am researching ways in which I can best encourage my students - in a positive way!

Does anyone have advice? Suggestions? Tips? Links? - That follow this theory?
Thanks,

Hi Erin,

You might want to check out the following websites. I have found them to be very useful.

The TRIBES program is an appraoch to learning while working within a group, what they call a tribe.

Dr. Jane Bluestein has a wealth of information on her website for managing children's behavior. She gives presentations and seminars and is fantastic. I refer back to her info all of the time.

All Kinds of Minds is also a very useful site. I went to the week-long Schools Attuned workshop a few years ago and found it very useful. The site has all of the information and suggestions for helping students with specific needs or difficulties.

I hope that you find these sites as useful as I do.
Thank you Shelly!
