I am doing a little research and trying to find some new ways to help my students learn the math material better and understand the lessons not just repeat answers like robots.  I noticed that Marzano's strategies are good I feel but I want to learn more about a few of them and this is one that I was interested in looking into a little more and learning how to have my students learn the  material and be able to pick out the important information for themselves and realize it. If you have any information about this strategy and know some information about it his strategies or how to use it, or how it works in the classroom please share with me.

Thanks,

Hannah Johnson

Have you read his book Classroom Instruction That Works?  It's pretty good and gives some nice examples.
Thank you Katie I will defiantly look for this book.
